Slice is a self-initiated typographic project. Inspiration for the new brand language was drawn from cutting a slice of cheese.

Inspired by the shapes and patterns the holes had created within these slices, the concept for the name and new typeface was created.

The typeface was created using the simplest geometric shapes, where all the letters are the same height and width, creating a grid-like appearance. The final alphabet is playful, fun and experimental.

Posters were printed that had sentences featured on them using the slice alphabet. These read A Slice of Life, A Slice of Brie, A Slice of Fun, A Slice of Mozzarella and A Slice of Heaven to name a few.
