Trend Group (Branding)

Trend Group’s evolving business model required a brand evolution and extension to cater to the needs of the company’s expanding range of products and services. In collaboration with Trend’s lighting design department, product managers, developers and engineers, branding and design guidelines were developed and implemented for a variety of multi-platform brand applications and product documentation across print and digital platforms.

Trend Group’s style guide has guided how the three brands — Trend Lighting, Trend For Trade and Trend Laboratories are expressed throughout a variety of brand applications and product documentation. Researching the group’s industry, customers, competitors and market trends assisted with understanding and developing the company’s mission, vision, values, colour palettes, photography and illustration styles. The established brand guidelines have allowed for a maintained and cohesive look for the family of Trend brands, and assisted with developing suitable branding and design solutions for a variety of web design, graphic design, publishing and packaging projects.
